Jack Russell - “Love of my life" said Bill about Trevor, still waiting for a response from Trevor.
Bill is a dog for two seasons and which Bill you get on the walks is very dependant on which side of the bed he gets out of in the morning.
It might be old Bill, a plodder who follows Trevor’s every footstep like a Dalmatian runs under the carriages wheels, or it could be the new Bill, bursting with energy and ready to run at least 20m to convince his boss he is still slim and fit enough to be rewarded with a bit of bacon fat, or preferably a bit of sausage at the next breakfast stop. Usually this happens within the first 500m of each walk, at least once!
After a quick glance at Sully & Srumpy going crazy, he readopts the Old Bill guise and plods along obediently. Being a dog of little stature, drinks from cow troughs are quite a challenge as they don’t tend to come in his size very often. But his doting “Dad” is always on hand to lift him up for a drop of the amber, brown or normal semi clear water contained within Suitably refreshed, of he goes again.
As can be seen below, he certainly wins hands down when he gets home, warm water in the sink is not anything Sully had better hold his hopes up for! Cold water hosepipe outside is all he normally get, oh he complains and makes life difficult alright, but, he’s not Bill, so deal with it!
Unfortunetly Bill walked his last walk in the summer of 2022 and passed away a few weeks later.
